Gods Kingdom and His righteousnes

New daily action

Christian means ‘little christ’, we act like our Lord, Savior and Big brother, Jesus Christ. One of the daily actions is prayer. Jesus said: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. (Mat 6:33). In prayer we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness.

Like Abraham was asleep when God made a covenant with him (Gen.15), we weren’t even born yet when Jesus Christ died for us. The Bible says in Romans 4:25 Jesus (or Yeshua, His Hebrew name which means ‘God saves’), who was delivered over to death because of our offences and raised to life in order to make us righteous. Did you recognize the word ‘us’. That means you and me. It means that God Himself accepted the offering of Jesus Christ as sin offering for our transgressions and do you see how important it is to understand that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead?

By believing that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead (!), He made us righteous. God accepted the offering. It is a done deal. Your faith in Christ and what He has done for you, and that God accepted His offering, by proving this, He raised Jesus Christ from the dead, so He can call you a righteous person. This is the gospel.

Read the Bible with new eyes

When you read in the old testament, you can discover how to read in a heavenly mindset. In proverbs many verses speak of the Righteous. When Jesus Christ was on the earth, He could read or hear these words and have faith that it was meant for Him. To encourage His mind.

Jesus Christ believed the writings in Isaiah (53). He believed that if He would suffer for you, you would get deliverd from sickness, that you would be in right standing with God. Jesus Christ knew the Bible, because He had a passion for the Word and the Spirit of God when He was on the earth. He knew Isaiah 50:5-6 because He experienced that the Lord God had openend His ears. He could hear the Spirit. And He knew the horror that awaited Him. He also knew that the Lord God would help Him (Isa 50:7-11 and Hebr 12:2).

Therefor, hold on to the faith of Jesus Christ. His faith in you is your strength. His faith believed for your salvation. His faith believed for your healing. His faith openend the door to the Kingdom. Never think, God is mad at you when you believe in Jesus Christ. Your faith in wat Jesus Christ has done has made you whole. You can now ‘boldly go to the throne of grace’. (Heb 4:16).
